busy as always
I know it’s only been a few days since my last entry, but it felt like weeks. The last couple of day has been somewhat uneventful, just assignment after assignment. One good thing happened this week. The new (somewhat) fridge is finally here, so today I did some real grocery shopping. The past 2 weeks, I’ve been having lazy(gross) pasta (half can of chunky soup + pasta). I know it’s just about the worst thing, but with my busy schedule and no fridge, it was the only thing to be had. This week’s grocery bill is much higher than usual as some stuff that last for weeks were stocked.
Congrats to my friend V who got his P.Eng licence. Ha ha, another friend who I can cound on to sign my passport app form, j/k.
Sat was rather busy, from the time I woke up till 5am the next day, I was working on debugging the prj project along with other members to make sure everything is ready for this week’s dry run. So why on Sat? The prof (the one I don’t like) offered to take time to test our system (on one of the busiest weekends where almost everyone has other tasks of greater priority). My other assignments are somewhat floating around, some started, some in research stage. I sure hope I can finish them all in time.
On my spare time, I’ve started watching an old anime series. Keror Gunso. Earth invading alien frogs,….it’s so funny. Yea I know, it’s from 2004 but 04 was when all this cs hell began.
I very much wonder how my career as a software developer will turn out. I know I will do great but I just don’t want to turn into something like my sis. She’s a good programmer but like some people I know, they settled down one on thing and forgot everything else. Some people stare at you with a blank face if you ask them to built an app with a gui out of the blue. I can’t ever imagine myself being that. I just have this need, to be able to do any and everything I’ve learned in the past, even if I haven’t touched it for years. A good measure to make sure every skill I’ve collected are still with me.
