watches
a while ago, I was surfing the net and saw some limited edition watches on www.engadget.com. These watches are from a company call tokyoflash in Japan. They are special in the way that it’s all eletronic watches using led to display time in the most unusual manner. I remembered my friend A actually bought a couple of these watches, they are quite a conversation starter, especially with women. I wonder if I should get one myself. Not for the women attracting factor, just because I don’t own any working time piece at the moment. I started living without a wrist watch since 01. I think that was the time my old watch’s battery died and I realize I carry my mobile with me all the time, and a wrist watch is just a redundancy. Traditionally, watches has always been a symbol of a man’s success. From the whatever digital watches worn by childern and white collors, to the rolex worn by wealthy businessmen, they play a good part of social stature. ….so should I get one…. I know the designer part of me would like it, at the same time, the programmer(logic) part of me would very much kick myself in the ass. Why? the watch isn’t that practical compare to the more traditional watches. And also, I much more prefer a pocket watch….if only there’s a way to carry one without putting on a belt.
oh well…guess I will live without a watch. This way, my left arm will always have an even skin tone. ha ha
