was looking around while I was on a break today. One of the other co-op student spent something like a whole hour at 2 desks behind me learning the basics from a full timer. It’s been a month already,…why is he still on those stuff. Then I remember, I’m a sponge for technology. I absorb technology like you wouldn’t believe. I learned all the xml and xlt stuff in 2 days. Actually it’s 3 but I wasn’t just reading, I was also working on the task assigned. Everything people do, I have to do better just because I can. Even the new hire haven’t caught up with xlt stuff yet and I’m already moving on to other stuff. But it’s understandable. He’ll be coming to the same job same spot for the rest of however long. I’m only there for 4 months and I want to get as much done as possible. (I have no intention in staying after the contract ends.) I’m learning a lot, but the location is far and equally boring as my last work term pos. ~_~
(maybe more, my last place of employement at the very least has a cafeteria. They have a pantry here that sits around 8 for the whole floor of people, so people usually eat at their desks…not much of a company culture. People come in, 9 hours later, they go home….boring….)
