somethings done, plenty to go

still plenty of work ahead.

which is worst

Seems like there’s some progress to the group assignment…key word being "seems".  The member responsible for submitting the assignment send me his so-called final version today. It’s actually fucking far from final. This morning he e-mailed me, asking me to send my control class. WTF? It’s already in the rose file I sent yesterday….everything is ready, they just have to add their own control class, the user spec and that’s it. What’s worst? The "final" version didn’t even have his own control class.

So now I’m wondering…is it worst to have a group member who just don’t communicate, or one that communicates but just sends the exact document I sent them days ago.

stupid group members

it really pisses me off when I ask for so little and not getting any results. Let see, I sent out a notice to hold a meeting today 2 days ago. Today (when the meeting is to occur), when class ended, turned around…both group members are gone. ….sigh….assignment due Friday….I HATE WORKING WITH IDIOTS!!!

web habbits

Monday, April 3rd, 2006

ever since rogers discontinued their newgroup feed, my habbit of insane downloads have stopped as well. The web suddenly seem much less interesting. The number of sites I visite on a daily bases can be counted by my digits(finger for you less educated). The sites I visite my friends’ blog pages, tech news sites, school related sites, the 3D hobby forum…and that’s it. Nothing else seems to be of any interest.

sigh….

The business writing project doesn’t look like it’s going too well. I just don’t have any confidence in any of the group members. One guy doesn’t seem to want to complete the project, his writing part is pretty much going to be pure crap that I have to edit. The other guy did his research and interview, but the interview is so badly done, most answers and one word or two word answers, not the mention all the irrelavant graphs and charts his padded in. Another one is retarded, it’s not an insult, he is mentally challenged. The 5th member, whom I think has the best chance of delivering something presentable…well still not to my expectations. It’s going to be editing hell come Friday.

Sometimes I wonder, I’m a HK immigrant who lived in TO for 10+ years, went back to HK and worked for 2 year….How is it possible that people born and raise in TO have less than acceptable communication skills in English?

I’m not the only

The other day at school, I was lining up to get a cup of hot chocolate. The person behind me ordered a half h.c. half coffee. Odd….apparently, I’m not the only one who likes that type of beverage. Half and half seems a bit too much coffee…but then again it’s bought not made, all the extra sugar would make it right.
