movie night
Finally got to watch Silent Hill. ^_^
guys….you said you didn’t understand the movie, I hope you are just kidding.
Here’s a recap of the movie (don’t read this if you plan to watch it)
-little Girl(A) lived in a God fearing town, got accused as a witch, town’s people burn her, event turned bad, police got involved and took the burnt girl to the hospital
-while recovering she grew angry, she vow to get revenge
-using her freaky powers, brought forth a hellish dimension to the whole town
-little Girl(A) gave birth to little Girl(B) which is actually her innocence
-little Girl(B) sent to an orphanage and got adopted by some family
-Here’s when the movie begin. little Girl(B) started acting wierd, kept saying "Silent Hill, home" and tried to jump off a cliff.
-the mother of the family decided to take the girl to Silent Hill
-little Girl(B) disappears in the town
-mother chase after her but was actually lead by little Girl(A) to reveal how she was burnt.
-after the mother know the truth, she let the essence of little Girl(A) in her and so little Girl(A) can get revenge of town’s people
-a few minuts of killings later, everything is over, little Girl(B) merged back with little Girl(A) without the mother’s knowing
-mother and little Girl(B) went back home but turns out they are still in the Hellish dimension…without the monster because little girl isn’t angry anymore
-film ends
that’s it. Not a really good movie but the effect and gore is certainly worth the $$. It’s not scary though, the casting is really bad. The protagonist(the mother), just suck at facial expressions. The character itself is pretty annoying too, the ignorant and stubborn, you know the worst kind of stupidity. The father was acting like a wife beating child nikester than someone who cares a lot about his family.
Funny thing, there was a scene where the hospital’s nurses are monsters blocking the hallway. That scene wasn’t scary at all, it was kind of a turn on. They really shouldn’t have cast those women who’s got assets front and back. heh heh
The actress with the role of the little girl was the only one worth watching(go Canadians) but then again, there wasn’t enough screen on her part.
