work
it’s been a while since I added an entry. Well I’ve been pretty busy, work then work after work, then work while I dream… Don’t get me wrong, working at OPG is great, not a lot to do, no immediate deadlines. It’s all the other work I do besides work that’s tiring me out. Back to the topic, working at OPG is great. I never knew being in the union would be so good. Come into work, do your 7 hrs and you are free to leave. People who come to work at 7am can leave around 3pm. It’s insanely good. What else? My cubical is so big, it’s a 2.5X2.5m area with 3 and a half boards. Each board is as tall as I am. So it feels more like a mini office than a cubical. Heh heh it’s actually about the same size as my manager’s office when I was working in GI. The equiptment is a bit old but who cares, I’m a programmer, I just need a machine to code. Eventhough everything is great, I do wish the avg age isn’t so high. It’s not like those young companys where people like to stay after work for LAN games. Oh and security is great, so safe that people do just leave personal stuff around the desk. I sometimes do that too. Heck, if you know how they get a security card to enter the building, you will feel safe too.
