soup’s on!
Felt kinda bored today, since the sem ended last friday. i didn’t feel much like eating out because I’ve been spending quite a lot on not so important stuff. (adding a second wireless router, buying design magazines, upgrading the power supply so now everything is power surge protected). So I decided to make soup at home. All the stuff costed around $25 and it’s enough to feed 6-8 people. Here’s a run down of what I used so I don’t forget.
Celery, carrots, onion, green cabage, tomatoes, potatoes, veal strips, and ground meat.
It’s pretty easy to do. Just chop everything into bite size pieces, throw them in a huge pot, add water, 2 soup spoon of salt, a few shakes of tobasco, 1/8 can of chicken stock. Boil it for 2-3 hours and it’s done. Leave the meat last, add them in around 1.8 hrs after boil else they will over cook.
See, simple. No recipe. That’s the way I like to cook, "free style". Think I learned this from my grandpa (mother side). He does things like this too, know it, try it, refine it. What can I say, cooking is not difficult. It is as simple as meat on stick over a fire.
