last drop of ume shu

yup, that’s right. The bottle of delicious ume shu (plum wine) from Japan is all gone. It’s my favorite alcoholic drink second to the apple ice wine from Quebec. And neither of the two can be purchased here in Toronto, so it’s back to the lesser quality pulm wine from the local LCBO. You can probably tell by now, I like my wine sweet with a nice scent. Wish I’m in Japan…or have the ability to import their conviniennt store here. On my last visite there, I had one kind of carbonated alcholic drink per night. Pear flavoured, soul apple flavoured, lemon flavoured…and much more. I am not an alcoholic, I just like have something different at times, and these drinks are pretty lite so it’s not a big problem.

If you are asking "what about beer?". I can tell you out loud, I hate the taste, smell, and just about everything else about beer. The only thing beer is good for is going into a pot of chili. I like fine wine too. The problem with wine, the cheap stuff taste awful and I’m not willing to shell out for the good stuff. Occationally I dine with some people who knows their wine and I get a taste of what’s good. So all other times, I just don’t want to taint my pallet with the cheap stuff. That’s pretty much what I can say about alcohol right now, I might not know much but I know what I like!
